Old Irene and Gumball Machines

For my personal tips on surviving a hurricane without stopping your cookie decorating routine, head on over to Cookies and Cups where I’ll show you how to make these little cuties.  No little ol’ hurricane is going to stop our decorating fun. I HAVE mentioned that I am obsessed, right ?

But seriously,  I try to keep things light when talking about serious stuff and things that scare me, but I know what it’s like to live in the aftermath of a hurricane.  I’ve been thinking of all of my east coast friends, and I hope everything is as normal as can be very soon.

In the meantime, I’m helping my friend, Shelly, who had the {dis}pleasure of meeting mean ol’ Irene, up close and personal, to hold down the fort.  Try to drop by and tell her we’re thinking of her.

I love these SO much! I used to think having a gumball machine in my room as a kid was pretty much one of the coolest things ever. Now seeing these cookies totally brings that feeling back to me again. Great job!
