p.s. How do you get the 'deliberate' dimple in the petals of your pink daisies? I'm guessing you used 20 second icing, but is there a technique to that look? Thanks!!!

When you posted this collection last spring, I thought...Oh that's nice,.....Next!......because I just try to steer clear, at any cost, of any kind type of character cookie....Disney or otherwise. I also thought that no one would ever, ever ask me to do Tangled cookies. Not in my wildest dreams. Then, just the other day, my friend called (with 4 days notice)...She: "Can you make Rapunzel cookies for my daughter's 6th birthday party?" Me: "Rapunzel? No, I don't think so.....Well, I mean, what are you envisioning?" She went on to tell me that they had seen this Rapunzel-like movie called Tangled and already bought paper products for the party... Suddenly, I remembered way back to April and these crazy cookies. Hmmmm. I don't know. Challenging. And I don't have a Wilton Ice Cream Cone cutter. What to do? I told her I'd 'look into it' and call her back. Sigh. The next thing I knew, I had baked 3 dozen cookies in every shape as shown, plus rectangles to draw the 'tower' on....I compulsively followed your instructions and, I must confess, they turned out beautifully....not anything original on my part, mind you....and I owe it all to you! So I'm sending this note of gratitude (since I rarely post a comment) just to say that you will always be my cookie idol, my saving grace in times of crisis and the greatest free resource out there. I dream of coming to Cookie Camp with you and other cookie friends someday.....but mostly just want to say Thanks Callye. You're the greatest and, You've done it again. xo, (mom of Duke grad, still baking in NC!)
