What if you want to cover the entire cookie with sanding sugar? I’m making “4” and “0” cookies in black and gold for a birthday and want to finish each number a solid color of sanding sugar. Any tips suggestions for applying the sugar?

Oh, BTW, I used your tutorial for Hula Girl cookies and it was amazing. Thank you so very much!!

You can brush on a little meringue powder mixed with water. I think that’s how Bridget applies hers. http://bakeat350.blogspot.com/2010/06/it-was.html
