I seen to have lost the low speed on my mixer. Is this possible, and is there any fix?

I have the $25 two piece guard and yours is better! Only one piece and a wider cover for particle flying prevention. I always worry about cracking or breaking the little teeth that hold the two pieces together. No worries for you. Thanks for the tips.

Great tip! I got the KitchenAid guard as a Christmas gift and it’s terrible – they changed the design (used to be in two pieces) and I still have flour flying all over the place. I went back to covering my mixer with a towel. I feel badly that my parents wasted their money on it. 🙁
