Hahaha, I've unknowingly been doing this from the start. And MY Fan is definitely not a food-friendly fan (shh, she's a dirty girl) so I put a Cheesecloth over my Fan's front (now she's properly dressed). We have 2 Cat's so I really need to do whatever I can to protect my Cookies. Thanks for ALL the Amazing Tips, Recipes, Videos, and Messages!

I put a fan on my decorated sugar cookies for the first time ( I used your royal icing recipe) and the decorations cracked. My cookies had holes and cracked lines? Not sure what I did wrong? Feed back would be greatly appreciated! Maybe the fan was too high or too close? Maybe I had the fan on for too long?

I have learned so much from your website! Thank you! Regarding using a fan to keep the icing shining, do you dry the first icing application then dry again after decorating?
