Angie, I am doing cookies for my sister's 100th birthday and wanted to ask if you use milk or water in your recipe for glaze?Many spoke of a problem with spotting and you did not , so I wondered if you would share your expertise with me? I used to flood and decorate with glaze. Now I still flood with glaze, but decorate and detail with royal. I like the taste of glaze, but couldn’t get my consistency right for decorating. My cookies are looking so much better and still taste good!

So glad I found this post! I HATE the taste of royal icing (even with flavorings, emulsions, etc.) and I am going to try glaze 🙂
