While looking for something else I came across this posting again. I realize these cookies were from a good many years ago but it reminded me of something. Have you found the cookie cutter site which has actual body parts as cutters? You can get a brain, a heart or how about a pair of lungs? There really isn't any anatomical part you can't get and I'm not talking about those vulgar ones of both male and female reproductive organs. WHY anyone would EVER consider making this into a cookie is beyond my understanding. Some people have a pretty odd sense of humor. The ONLY time I think they would be appropriate, and even then its questioning it, is at a physician's office that specializes in these problems or these body areas. I can't help it, those topics only belong in two places, in a physician's office if there are problems and any other time in the bedroom with a spouse. That's it. But, you know how the world is now, what's the old expression..."let it ALL hang out!"

Very cute cookies! I knew exactly what they were. And yes Sue, it is a tradition to eat black-eyed peas on New Year's Day to bring good luck. And cabbage for prosperity. And, according to my great-grandfather, don't spend any money on New Year's Day or you'll be spending money all year long.
