Gingerbread House of Cards with The Cookie Architect and Friends

Ever wonder what would happen if a real-life architect took up cookie decorating?  Well, the obvious, of course!  She’d build things.  Cookie things.

When Rebecca, AKA the Cookie Architect first approached me with this project I was more than a little nervous.  I don’t do well under pressure and I get especially stressed in situations where there’s only one shot to get it right.  In other words I could never work for NASA.  In any case, I faced my fear and the final project is amazing.

Gingerbread House of Cards by The Cookie Architect and Friends I am, however, only willing to claim one side of my contribution.  While I love my wet on wet holly leaves {tutorial coming soon}, I don’t want to talk about the other side.  Surely you understand.

Basically my idea was simple is best, especially with all of the other designs going on.  I’ve always been more comfortable in the choir, rather than singing a solo.

Gingerbread House of CardsTake a moment to observe and enjoy.  There are so many wonderful things to take in.

Gingerbread House of Cards by The Cookie Architect and Friends 3Some things just don’t need much explanation.  They’re just amazing.

Thanks again, Rebecca, for putting this together.  I look forward to doing it again!
