Decorated Cow Cookies
Are farm-themed cookies on your to-do list? Then this cute little cow cookie is just what you need.
Believe it or not this friendly little farm animal started out as a dress cutter. I picked this one up at The Cookie Cutter Company.
To make these cookies you will need:
- Ivory piping and 20-second icing
- White piping and flood icing
- Black piping icing {make it a little on the stiff side} and 20-second icing
- Red 20-second icing
Begin by using ivory 20-secong icing to create the lower portion of the cow’s face.
After a few minutes, use white icing to create the body and top portion of the face.
Next use 20-second icing to add hooves and stiffer piping icing for ears. I used a leaf tip to change things up a bit
Add a few final details to finish up the design.
- Pipe a tail with a #2 tip
- Add a tail and hair “poofs” using a #13 tip
- Use black 20-second icing to add eyes
- Add nostrils and maybe a line around the lower part of the face {see final photo}
- Use red 20-second icing to make a sweet little bandana
- Create cow print with black 20-second icing
I love to mix colors and designs to add visual interest to my platters.
